This week I talked about eating more healthful foods. I started with fermented foods, why they’re good for you, and which ones to try. I then went into how to get more vegetables into your diet, since most people don’t get enough in! I also made suggestions on how to increase protein and healthy fat and how to reduce excess refined carbohydrates. All good advice to jumpstart your spring health!
Do you consider garlic kosher pickles a good fermented food?
Yes, Cousin Ed! As long as they have not been pasteurized. Check labels, or if buying from a deli barrel, ask if they’ve been pasteurized. Ba-Tampte may not be pasteurized. Also check your local health food store. Great to hear from you! Cousin Franny
