WHUS Radio is governed by an annually elected board of UConn students, the board sets and modifies the WHUS operating budget and writes and enforces policies.
The WHUS executive officer is the General Manager, and the chief financial officer is the Operations Manager.

WHUS Board meetings happen weekly on Friday at 3pm Eastern, meetings are open to the public, UConn student union, room 412.
