The New Music Committee is your opportunity to listen to brand new releases and offer your opinions, influencing and shaping the sound of the station. NMC holds meetings that allow students and community members to gain hands-on experience in analyzing music by reviewing the albums that promoters send to WHUS and discussing them with peers. The committee holds several fun competitions and gives away free CDs and vinyls.
The Music Department is the largest at WHUS and is often the first place that students get involved in the station. NMC is known for inspiring students to complete the training to become an on air DJ.
