The Sports Department covers UConn basketball, football, baseball, soccer, and hockey teams. Students and community members have the opportunity to learn broadcast engineering and announce live play-by-play coverage of UConn athletics, on and off campus! We’ve even sent members of the department to cover UConn’s NCAA National Championship basketball games!
The department meets bi-weekly on Mondays at 6 PM in the station (SU 412). If you are interested in getting involved or have any questions, email Paige Foerter at sportsdirector@whus.org. Please check our Instagram for any last-minute cancellations.
