I have shopped for groceries, packed my sleeping bag, and checked off every item on my list in preparation. However, I do not think anything can prepare me for the experience that will be Bonnaroo 2014. About an hour out of Nashville, in Manchester, TN, almost a hundred-thousand people will gather for four days of music, culture, and fun. Bonnaroo has gained a reputation as being one of best music festivals of the summer. This year’s lineup is staggering. Amongst the performers in attendance are Elton John, Jack White, Kanye West, Lionel Richie, Vampire Weekend, Arctic Monkeys, The Avett Brothers, and many more.
Many people claim that attending Bonnaroo was one of the greatest experiences of their life. This year I am going to share that experience with you. On Wednesday, two friends and I will begin our 16 hour pilgrimage to Tennessee. Once on the farm, I’ll be updating you with blog posts about everything Bonnaroo.
