This past Sunday, The Space Venue in Hamden, CT was paid a long overdue visit by Brooklyn based singer songwriter Mackenzie Scott, aka TORRES, accompanied by Connecticut’s own Zanders & Reduction Plan. Those who braved the cold to come out were rewarded with a night of eclectic sound and energy, all in the wake of Scott’s birthday, which was only the day prior to the show.
The three acts blended together effortlessly from the melodic, grungy sound of Reduction Plan, to the intense piano harmonies of Zanders, finishing off with TORRES’ thumping, heavy presence.
